5 Ways To Use Blackboard Adhesive In Your Home!

I came across a roll of blackboard adhesive in my local decor store and automatically I was thinking about different ways I could use it around the house!

I like blackboard adhesive it is so handy to have around the home and in places like the kitchen or laundry as it sticks onto prepared surfaces well and you can use it for multiple things.

Wall Calendar

A wall calendar is one of my favourite ways to use the adhesive. It is easy to see, and I use it every single month. I find it handy to write any bills that are due on it, birthdays for that month and any important dates that I need to remember.

The only downside for me is that it needs to be rubbed off and updated every month which can be time-consuming.

Shopping List

I have a large strip of blackboard adhesive on my pantry door. I use to it write up any items that I will need to repurchase when I do my big grocery shop. Once you have written your list up – take a photo with your phone and use that for your shopping list.

Notice Board

A noticeboard is great to have in the Kitchen, Study, Children’s Bedrooms or Laundry rooms. It is a place to jot down any notes and reminders for yourself or your family.

Have a weekly menu for your family? Use it to write it on so everyone knows what is for dinner that evening!

Wall Stickers

Blackboard adhesive can make great wall stickers. You can cut the adhesive into any shapes and sizes and pop them on the wall.

I made shadow animals for my nursery room, which was great to encourage my baby to look in a certain direction.

Labels

We can not forget labels! You can label your entire house with blackboard adhesive. I use them in my kitchen to label all of my containers. The great thing is that if you change the item in the container it is easy to rub off the label and write the new item on it!
